Shelby101
Looking to install a device in car so know where daughter is and speed she has been traveling.. There were topics in the past, but nothing came up when I searched. Need brand names if anyone can help, and where to buy. Thanks a lot in advance for the help. thewheelman
Try these. I considered using one of them for a relative who was showing signs of Alzheimer's/dementia. http://www.vehicle-tracking.com/ http://www.vehicletrackingsolutions.com/ http://www.gpsonsale.com/vehicletrackingdevices/

txcobra
http://www.myskyway.com/ I have it on both my Shelbys. One is at SAI right now. How do these work, is it a pretty major installation? (I wonder if it involves cutting any wires?) Is there some kind of antenna or something that can see the sky to pick up a signal? Is there some kind of antenna or something that can see the sky to pick up a signal? I had ours installed at the dealership. It is a Ford licensed product. Everything is under the dash. I don't know about wire cutting. It does require a subscription, but our monthly charges are less than most I looked at. I'm very happy with it. dh777
I saw about a 25 mile drive, a few stops on the road, I never saw over 80 mph but I don't know how fast the response time is on the gps. They may have had it on up there and back down quick to where I didn't see it. I can't wait to get it back! :happy feet:
txcobra
Let's hope it was truly for the purposes of testing your car and not joy riding. I seriously doubt anyone at SAI would ever let that happen.
