Tucker
We have been working on a customers 2010 GT500 for a while now adding this and that. We did the Hydro Carbon process on the rockers, front splitter, hood vent and center console. The radio bezel and rear bumber valance are still coming. These are not your normal Hydro Carbon Parts, first they are painted Kona Blue and then taken throught the Hydor Carbon process. Because it's a white stripe car we did white under the console and radio bezel for the added touch of white inside. Sorry, I forgot to get pics of this, but will soon. It looks awesome!! They look great and I can't wait to see the car in the sun. Big change Vs. the stock textured plastic. We can do regular carbon or custom painted stuff, got an idea please call to discuss. 757 335 1940 Jay@JLTtruecoldair.com What do you think? Burning Blue Star IV
Looks really nice to me Tucker...something for people that don't want to radically change their cars' appearance, but make it a bit different.
tdusseau
I like this. Just not sure how it would look black. Basic carbon fiber black does nothing for me, don't like it. But the Kona in the pics looks good.

Tucker
Can't help but think how well these parts will hold up to heat and sun, rain etc? They look really nice. Just fine, they are painted with high quality automotive paint, just like your car, then urathane cleared. This process started with the camo on 4 wheelers and otherout door plastics. No worries. Those look incredible. I was expecting them to look like every other carbon fiber parts but these really stand out and look excellent. When can I get mine done? Email me a list and I'll send you a quote. On a black car I would do the CF print over black. We can do a darker CF print, that looks more realistic. GAFSoldier
nice very nice ,congrats. my question is , can this ^ be had without the hood prop holes /hook ? Thanks. I think no because this is made from the Original Radiator Cover and they have them on. Have send Jay a PM about this, maybe he can make one without the holes. Tucker
It would take a great deal of work to fill these areas. If we can get enough interest, we may make this panel out of reaf CF without the clips for the prop rod. Jay
2010KonaBlueGT
Jay, I think this console looks AWSOME. It would be a great match for the GT500 dash. How much does that complete package (console, drink holder cover & radio bezel) cost to have done? Is that a item that gets sent in to be painted or can/do you provide the parts too? I'm very interested in this item. TIA, Phill Pollard

I'll get the pricing for you monday. I'm working on getting these items on our site ASAP do you (JLT) have the equipment to do the hydro graphics or you do the painting and send it out for the hydro work after? bpmurr
The quality of the work looks very nice. However, having the rockers the same color is just too much blue for me. I also think center stack would look good in traditional carbon fiber black.

I'll get the pricing for you monday. I'm working on getting these items on our site ASAP While yer at it... I was thinking of getting the door lock (where the up/down button is) bezels and the door handle bezels done to match. I saw the lock bezels on e-bay and they looked like the same color/pattern so it's probably the same folks that do your stuff. I'll look in the car and see what else might need to be included but off the top of my head, that would be all. I think if a guy went with much more it would be 'too much'. Speaker rings, etc. must just be 'over the top'. But just from memory, I'd like to get prices for; center console w/drink holder door, the radio surround (I have Nav), the door lock and door handle bezels... In the color/pattern you showed in the photo above, in this thread. What is that, white? Silver? Ivory? Thanks in advance Jay, Phill Pollard

I tend to agree with you. I think it would be too much blue if you did them all. I think the black lowers breaks up the 'total blue' package. IMO, you'd have "too much of a good thing" if you had it ALL one color (Blue, Red, whatever). I'll very likely eventually have my hood vent and wicker bill done with the traditional (black?) hydro-carbon fiber 'look'. And when Shelby eventually releases the CF splitter and CF rockers for the 2010, I'll buy 'the real thing' (actual Carbon Fiber). And they will, just like they did with the '07-'09 versions. Normal Hydrocarbon is done over a light charcol to get the CF look. If you want it over a custom color, be sure to call and discuss. PARTS DUDE
Good morning. What kind of a price tag to do the exterior parts? the side skirts, front chin, rear fascia extension or skirting and the hood vent. My car is 2010 gt500 with black on black. The pics look incredable.
2010KonaBlueGT
Center Console $549 Radio Bezel $159 Door handle Bezels $164 Door Lock Bezels $59 Okay, so it looks like for a little under a grand I can get everythign I want inside my car done in the "White" carbon fiber look. I still want to get out to my car and look it over real well to see if I might want to add something else (like the window switch bezel, as pictured). I also want to do a black "CF look" hood vent and wickerbill done. Have you done a wickerbill yet? How much trouble is that to R&R? I don't see anything obvious to get it loose. What will that (vent and WB) add to the cost? When I'm ready to pull the trigger (MUCH sooner rather than later), what's the process. I can't figure out how to bookmark this thread/subject so if you can e-mail my personal account at phill.pollard@comcast.net I can better keep in touch with you. Thanks again Jay, Phill Pollard - Co. Tucker
I'm trying to get the parts on the web site ASAP, just been pulled in other directions. Phil, wickerbill? Do you mean the front splitter? Sorry, I've never heard it called that. Anyway, here are a few of the exterior prices, if you want to order before they hit the site, please call. Front splitter $495 Side Rockers $799 Rear Valance $699 Hood Vent $195 These prices are the same for regular carbon color or White or Kona or Red or what ever. Best to call and discuss all orders before you purchase. I'm here to help you with suggestions and opinions (if you want them ) Thanks Jay
ItalianStallion
Parts look great !! Is there a package that JLT can offer or put together of these particular select exterior pieces that are typically Hydro'd. For instance the Chin splitter rear mirrirs rocker panels rear valence all offered in a 1 complete package kit for the Shelby owner...and one that would carry somewhat of a cost savings since tthe "package " was purchased. I think , if a customer would want to go this route, this sort of approach would yield super results. Just a thought. IS
