kahmann
Planetary gears, my man. They're noisy. All Paxtons are. You just need a bigger exhaust. Ken

Ken Ken This is not a planetary gears noise. It is a real problem, car has 5K no noise before this, actually very quite. But I need to agree about the exhaust BM

86SVO
Hmmm... that's a bummer. Is it intercooled or non?Have you tried changing the blower oil? Ken Yes, it is intercooled and oil-fed - this is one of the first installed by SAI in LV in 2007 before delivery. When noted noise took car to Ford dealer for inspection, found internal charger noise. I was hoping that it was a belt/tensioner noise but I knew that most likely was not... Ford removed it and I am taking it directly to Paxton for inspection and repairs. Warranty issues too. Paxton will warranty supercharge only if manufacture defect and only the supercharger. But so far I am responsible for the labor at Ford (inspection-remove-reinstall - quoted 5 hrs, one hr inspection 2 hrs rem and 2hrs reinstall), not happy at all on this... when I took delivery on Sept 07, my understanding was that I had 36 mo or 36K miles warranty on parts and labor Ford-Paxton-Shelby. I would like to know if I am the only one having these problems and how the warranty (Ford-Paxton-Shelby) was handled. P.S. Paxton water tank issue too, but that was handled okay. It was a six months ordeal with Ford, Paxton and Shelby, but so far no more leaks... BM
