Missed third gear again.....

Recommended Posts

Under heavy acceleration or even at the track I seem to miss third gear alot, seems like when I shift the shifter hits like a wall or something, is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone changes out their shifter from the hurst to something else? 1st to 2nd is goo to go, it's just third-15,000 miles coming up soon.

I missed it all the time UNTIL I had the tranny synchro TSB done to my (ex) car. After that it was smooth as buttah!

Also were you able to put the Hurst ball on it or did you go with a Shelby ball?

this shifter looks like the Steeda Tri-ax:
