goumoun
Dear friends, I wish to share tons of fun with these 5 videos and pix of the race organized for the 85 birthday of the Monthlery race track, close to Paris. This race track is a speedway build in 1923 and not modified since. Probably the last ring in the world where you can actually race. All the big champions of the golden era raced there, Ascari, Varzi, Trintignant, Fangio, just to name a few. So this has been an honor to have the opportunity to race on this historic race track. See the videos of my GT500 racing on the MCF site For those who have seen it, this is the place where the racing scenes form the 66 movie "a man and a woman" was shot. There were two races in the US car category. On the first video there is a passage thru the sand pit full speed... GT500 are fast, sometimes more that it seems from driver seat. http://www.mustangclubdefrance.com/phpBB3/...66&start=

Better the sand then possibly spinning off track and hitting something. You have a beautiful track and lots of great cars running around it. Thanks again.
