sankar11 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Share Posted October 7, 2009 Fuel consumption The United States Environmental Protection Agency mileage estimate for the GT is 12 mpg-US (20 L/100 km; 14 mpg-imp) in city driving, and 19 mpg-US (12 L/100 km; 23 mpg-imp) in highway cruising, for a combined 14 mpg-US (17 L/100 km; 17 mpg-imp).On May 14, 2007 a GT participated in an economy driving contest around Reykjavík in Iceland held by FÍB (the association of car owners in Iceland)and the oil company Atlantsolía. The driver Gísli Jón Bjarnason, finished the 143 km (89 mi) circle on the GT through hilly terrain with average fuel consumption of 11.31 L/100 km (24.98 mpg-imp; 20.80 mpg-US). This performance was then improved in the same competition the consecutive year. fjpikul Posted October 26, 2009 Report Share Posted October 26, 2009 Cruising regularly at 80-85 mph (1900 rpm) I get 21-23 mpg. Sixth gear is a big help.
