KR158
Hello all wanted to see what kind of boost and whp can be had from the stock blower? Will the evo stg 4 make 600whp out of the stock blower or is it just spinning to much and making a ton of heat? Also what are the best cooling mods for the gt500, HE, HE w/fans, T stat, bigger ic pumps, bigger ic tank etc? Any gain with CJ tb over the stock unit? Thanks all. 08 Mustang
FWIW, with the addition of what you see in my signature, my car made 532rwhp/514rwtq @ 14.2psi on a Mustang Dyno.
VaporDude
I am pushing 585RWHP with the Steigemeier Snake Bite kit, FRPP CAI, CJ throttle body and stock pulley. I am thinking of going to a 2.9 or 2.8 pulley to see how much more I can get out it. Bang for buck, this was the best mod for the cost.
mach1mustanggt500
I made 588 rwhp on a VMP tune. I made 612 rwhp @17 lbs of boost with my current tuner. When I had my stock blower, 2.65 pulley, 10% damper, 66 tb, and C&L CAI.
ChrisSD
Eatons are nicknamed "Heatons" when spun faster so make sure you invest in a larger recovery tank and upgraded H/E.

Stock blower and throttle body with Stiegemeier Porting Services "SnakeBite" mod / 2.9 pulley. Results were done on a Mustang Dynamometer 09/25/2009 RWHP 534.1@5536 RPM/121.6 MPH RWTQ 563.6@4183 RPM/91.9 MPH 17 PSI max boost, 16 PSI average boost 18 degrees timing @ 91 0ctane fuel Installed Afco Dual Pass Heat Exchanger and Ford Racing Crank Pulley prior to dyno run. This is by far the best mod I have done...only wish I could get higher octane fuel.

I am surprised you don't have better numbers than that. I am still on the stock pulley with 14.5 PSI boost.

I am still on the stock pulley with 14.5 PSI boost. I was thinking about that but I'm pretty happy with the set-up the way it is. The car was tuned on a mustang dyno, so the dyno results are lower than that of a dynojet. Lot's of people would agree the difference is anywhere between 10%-15% lower. KR158
So with out the ported SC and just the 2.6 pulley, lower pulley, tune and cobra jet TB what gain could be had? This is for a KR so it has the frp cai already. Will I make 575whp? I would think those parts would set me back 2500.00 give or take.
Alloy Snake
Add the correct cooling mods and good air and it is possible to hit 575rwhp,Depends on your car too-Some do better than others for no apparant reason.
