07SGT4578
Its all in the tune, if the car was tuned properly it would have handled it just fine. The following was copied from the OP's on the thread on the other site. he thought he was putting on a 9lb pulley from saleen, but really it was a 14lb pulley...it didnt make it home... If the car was tuned properly with either boost level it would not have grenaded, period. chitty tune + boost + plus a heavy foot = carnage on any motor built or not. pottydr
Like Chris said, it's all in the tune, I had mine @14lbs boost for a couple of months and ran great over 500rwhp, now running 10lbs and still runs good, Rick

ShowCar
I wonder where he got the pulley from? From a stock 5-6lb. pulley to 14lbs. without a tune, bigger injectors, and fuel pump just doesnt make sense. Even if he ordered a 9lb. pulley they sent him a smaller pulley without supporting mods??? I feel sick just seeing the pictures but there has to be more to the story. None the less build it stronger faster and right. Poor Kid. I feel bad for him and I dont even know him. I have stock belt 124 inches i believe went to a gates but to short, will order another one but he has 5 in between the two I have just wondering if you had a belt size and number. Kinda like the three bears I know only too long too short need one right in the middle. :happy feet:
