LL CS6 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 I bought a TCI Streetfighter ratchet shifter for Slimer so I decided to get a custom shiftknob made since the O/D button is now on the base. It's a blast to drive, the unit itself is well made and the transition is pronounced but smooth. There is a distinctive ratcheting sound when shifting threw the gears. The lockout feature prevents you from shifting to neutral or rev, but once in drive you can walk the gears up or down smoothly. I think it is a must have for an automatic.
