doublegrabber
I would like to offer a Public word of thanks "Son of GT" with his help I was able to convince Santa Monica Ford to replace the hood scoop and stripes before they ship this car to me in Mich. Enis went to the dealership and sent me a very detailed description of the scoop which in turn i explained to the dealership. This is what makes Team Shelby and its members great!! clark17357
That is good news but the a slice we do not want to forget about is that Enis does this kind of stuff all the time. Those of you who have been around for a long time know how often it is Enis who is "there" when stuff gets done. It kind of says it all that he is made lead car for every cruise he is in. What does it say that he has the abililty to keep a bunch of cowboys like us in line (under threat of death, for sure, but in line none the less). But, mostly, he helps anyone anytime they ask. Add to that, not that it is a surprise, he is a heck of a guy to hang around. He is a really great example of great people with great cars finding each other. And, least I be accused of being too serious, this is not a paid advertisement. I posted it because it is important that we tell good people "out loud" that they are appreciated. We all have plenty of time to complain so is it not fair that we take a little of that time and tell someone he "done good?" Jim
Son of GT
Wow, I am truely flattered and honored by everyone's comments. Thank you all for your sentiments, and I am pleased to help whenever I can. I do consider this site to be an extended family, and like other families, we support each other in between the banter and the bickering. Greg, I am happy to hear that Santa Monica Ford is willing to resolve the hood scoop for you, and once that's done, your car will be perfect. Let me know if you would like me to check it again after it's been replaced and before it's shipped. This forum was quite a suprise and quite appreacated, and Greg you are quite welcome, I was glad to help.

Shelbyite
As we go through life, we meet several outstanding people that are just a cut above others. Big E is that guy. I have watched countless times as E has gone out of his way to help a fellow Shelby or ford owner in need weather it was supplying some good advice or hooking up with a shelby owner to drive his or her car and look at some concern that was unfounded or founded . From there hooking the member up with the service advisor at galpin to get the fixed correctly under warrenty. E is that guy. If you have ever been to his after LA SAAC show at santa monica pier car show after party, you are in for a treat. On the beach as the son sets among lighted tiki torches its, a party not to be missed.

HARALD KELLEY
I am sure the insight Enis provided me regarding the Paxton which I conveyed to SAI helped in SAI's follow-up. Now it is being installed and a green light for all 2006 cars if so desired. I echo all the comments and hope to talk to you some more at the bash if not before.
