What rear gears in the '08???? Factory 3.31 gears?? Or 3.73's???

The '10 has 3.55's so part of the equation is sitting right here...... can't wait for the answer!!

Thats not true the 2010 has a few more pounds and the ford factory tune is a lot less agressive.

Respectfully,

Roger

Well, I would have to assume that anyone that installs a cold air intake is smart enough to throw a tune at it as well.

As for weight, what's the difference? 10 lbs? Give me a break. It's the same car with a new pair of clothes.

Your right its 4 pounds difference, I just looked it up on edmunds. The aftermarket tune is more agressive. That's why I was saying it had a slight advantage.

I was watching a video comparing a Hennessy Camaro and a 10 GT500 on youtube,

they took the cars to the dyno and got 511 rwhp from the GT500, if that is true that

540 they claim might be a conservative number.

Wow kind of suprised at that. The 2010 at first I didnt really care for it, but I finally got to see one up close. With all the fixes and the move to a better suspension I would buy another 500 down the road, If they switch to the alum-block then I will pick one up in a couple of years. But I was really suprised at how good the 10 looked in person.

Maybe the 2010 had a full tank ( 8 lbs per gal. ) . Maybe the 2010 driver has 150 lbs on the other driver and had his windows down with golf clubs and dog food in the trunk and had a crome foot gas pedal . That would explain it.
