Parking Brake Light and TCS light stay on after parking on hills?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this one.

If I park my car on an angle (in a driveway say) for any amount of time longer than 5 minutes, the next time I turn the car on the parking brake light stays lit as does the Traction Control System Warning light, and the TCS is deactivated.

If I leave it for a few hours on flat ground again - both issues go away.

My initial thought was air in the brake lines as at first just the brake light stayed lit, but just a few days later both issues came up at the same time and go away after the same amount of time.

Thanks.

I've tried to look for a TSB but can't seem to find one. I'm going to take mine in soon, as my warranty is over in 2/10 (even though I didn't take delivery until 5/07 due to it being at shelby and getting a S/C install).

That said, need to have this worked on. If anyone knows the problem that would be great.

Why would you wait till the warranty is over to take it in?? :headscratch:
