How Many

Now that some of us have had our 2010's for a while I was wondering how many miles have you put on your car? I have 230 so far, the weather has been bad here with a lot of rain and have only had it out once since bringing it home in July.

I just hit 1k. I had some spirited driving from NJ to WV and back for some WVU football - was a blast

Took delivery in mid-July and put on about 3,000 miles - but the snow will be here soon and it will have to be stored for the winter. My feeling is that you might as well drive them because very few vehicles (even supercars) made today appreciate in value. Look at the Ford GT, they have stopped production and the prices are still quite high, but not what they were being sold for.

Picked mine up on July 7th and I have 3100 miles on her now... Will be doing my first oil change this weekend... Figure I have maybe 8 weeks left before she is stored in the garage for the winter...

I bought this car to be my daily driver. I picked it up aug 1 and now I have 1400miles.

Picked up in Sturgis, SD just in time for the Motorcycle rally, and yes the Sturgis Mustang Rally over Labor Day "Which is one of the best events for MUSTANG LOVERS in the United States. With 1600 fun filled miles later I still :happy feet: :censored::drool::shift::hysterical: everytime I get in the good old girl.

I Love to hear this! I was in Sturgis also for the Mustang Rally. What dealer did you pick yours up from? Jacobsen Ford?? What color combo did you get? I saw a black w/grabber blue coupe and a red/black coupe...

My wife went to WVU, my inlaws own Burnsville Dock Marina on Burnville Lake in WV. They have some nice wide open roads in WV, not over crowded like Seattle highways. I'd have some fun driving back there, just have to watch out for all those darn deer. OH, I have a little over 800, winter is coming soon so putting some miles on the car are going to be few.

Ouch!! You really should have done FIRST oil change at 1000 miles. I hope all you guys with 1000 or more have changed it already. You really should get that "break in oil" out of there. Best to reduce the amount of any metal shavings from break in by doing the oil & filter change. If you don't think you need to do it best of luck to you. I changed the oil on my 09 at 985 miles. I know most 07-09 owners have changed at 1000 mile. It something I have always done on my new cars regardless of what manual says. After the first change then go by manufacturers recomendation on oil change.

What I meant was that I was going to do it myself for the first time... The car was at the dealer for a new muffler at 1025 miles, and it had oil change while there...

They did argue with me that it didn't need to be done yet, that a full synthetic 5/50 oil needs more than 100 miles to "break in" an engine. But I insisted, and they did it anyway. It was a no-charge for first oil change at my dealer too...
