DakotaDan
I have #1474 (white) does that make this the second to last Shelby Dakota produced, or is the serial number different than the production build order? Just out of curiosity does anyone have 1475? If so, what color is it?

If so, what color is it? DakotaDan, Welcome to the Team Shelby forums. Glad you found us. There were 1500 Shelby Dakota's built for the 1989 model year. The dash plaque number does NOT correlate to the actual build sequence. For example your S/Dak #1474 was built before S/Dak #1000. S/Dak #1475 is a white truck just like #1474. Both are California trucks. Your truck #1474 was sold to Dependable Dodge in the San Fernando Valley. How about posting some pics of your truck?
