IASHELBYGT
Up on ebay. Says car started as an 07 SGT. It has a dash plaque which looks like is number 780 something. So was this an actual SGT at one time or part of a wrecked one somebody took parts from? VIN #1ZVHT82H875293622. I have to admit it is kinda cool looking. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Shelby-Must...5fCarsQ5fTrucks
James Hill
why? With the amount of money they spent, they could of had a KR.
2007_Shelby_GT
I suppose if they rebuilt a badly damaged GT it might be more cost effective, but I suspect you might find a real 69 for a bit more. Looks to top/rear end-heavy to me... Sam AKA:

HORSBYT
It sort of reminds me of that scene in Men In Black II where the alien crashes into a farm field and kills the farmer, walks into the house and looks all F*'d up cos he is wearing someone else's skin.... Just my opinion though.
SHELBYBRO
I really like it for what it is. This company(Retrobuilt) has been making new Mustangs into old ones for awhile now. They are pretty good at what they do too. There is another company called Unique that makes replica Elenors' as well. They sold one of those at a Barrett Jackson Auction for over half a million. I don't think people would pay that much if the car wasn't perfect.

SHELBYBRO
H ha ha....that's them. Well I never said they were nice people. That's to funny. Well I guess they made a lot of money using inmates.

08SGT1977
I like it. The rear taillights are wrong though. Everything else looks close to the mark. It looks like a new Challenger kind of. I wonder if it has a lot of roll? The new Challenger, while good looking and powerful does not handle well (in it's stock form). tispco
I saw it at Mustang Week and really liked it. It was one of my favorite Mustangs there. The workmanship was top notch.

EL SHELBY
I like it. A car like this is not about the money, it's about the statement and the novelty. And, I'm willing to wager it doesn't negatively effect it's value down the road.
SGT-C0056
Looks nice, i also was going to say that it looked like a Challenger cross-over
WildAzCat
I like seeing the ingenuity and skill that it takes to put something like this together. I also like the KR model they put out a while back...

08SGT1977
One less stock SGT to worry about! Yea. They should have sacrificed a Mustang GT. The only reason I can think is to affirm that it is a genuine Shelby Mustang?
SGT/SC#0471
Wow. Why not buy a nice AMC Javelin and get it over with...proportions are very wrong and this is not a car I would want to be seen in it deserves a coon tail award... dumb, sorry but thats what come to mind, that and why? Matt N.
Looks like it may have a Paxton (maybe Shelby branded?) / Vortech under the hood as well?
08SGT1977
Would love to see the Shelby Registry input on this SGT / GT 500 tribute! That ought to be interesting. It is a beautiful and unique car and a genuine Shelby.
Shelby N.Y.
I don't think that it came together quite right. Yeah the rear of the car doesn't look quite right , it looks like the rear wheel wells should be flared out or raised up or something.
kahmann
Looks like it may have a Paxton (maybe Shelby branded?) / Vortech under the hood as well? Yes, it has a Shelby 'tagged' intercooled Paxton 2200. This car is ugly as all hell, in my opinion. What a waste of a perfectly fine SGT. 08SGT1977
If I were a wealthy man, I would buy that car or have one built. I am sure that thing turns heads everywhere it goes. I would be very interested in how it handles though. I really liked the taillights on the 69-70 Shelby GT 350/500s. That is one thing they should have tried better to recreate. SWEDEMAN
The car just doesn't look right for some reason. You know the eye can tell it does not look right but you can't actually pick out the real problems though. Strange and yes it must have been a badly damaged SGT.
