2kgt281
Congrats!!! Bar none, the GT is the baddest supercar on the streets, you can have your exotics, I'll take the GT, its the one car that looks like its not legal on the street!. Where I work I see just about every supercar/exotic on a daily basis, from flat black Lambo Gallardo's and Audi R8's to Ferrari Scuderia's and Porsche GT3's, but on the rare occasion I see a GT, my eyes always pop out of my head. As much as I love my 500, that is an upgrade I would not think twice about. Again, congrats!!!

twobjshelbys
Extremely awesome! Where did you find an unregistered '05? Had to belong to the dealer running it as a demo. I thought of one but decided I wanted to get a Cobra instead.

chimazo
Sounds like an awesome car (except for the chrome rims)! Rims were probably a dealer thing, since they were only offered with a choice of cast or (optional) forged rims, both painted.

YZD263
Major Congrats! :happy feet: :happy feet: As others said, as much as much as I love my GT500, this is a move I would make, budget permitting. I also saw new GT (also red with white stripes) at a Ford dealer a few weeks ago and was surprised that there was still some new ones left. The also had a couple of KRs in their showroom along with the GT. Please post a few pics when you can!

twobjshelbys
My conclusion was the Ford GT was too civilized for me. I'm still considering a Superformance GT40 or a Daytona Coupe, but for a CSX9xxx I'd have to choose the electric window delete option. Still, A/C must be an option. I'm not crazy. My respect to Bob Bondurant and all the others for sitting inside a Coupe or GT40 all those hours. Of course, the Ferrari couldn't have been any cooler. Well when you consider just a few years ago some GT's were going for $200000+ and now with $43000 off sticker thanks to the bad economy. That fit in my budget. I pick it up this thursday, can't wait. xtremes10
There are a number of used ones with 3000 or less miles for around $140-160 range, not a bad price if you ask me...
