I have heard others say that some had to replace the fuse that was removed during the Shelby mod.

Also the lights only go on when the car is on. They"re dead if you try turning them on otherwise.
SHELBYBRO
Same here. I haven't put any fog lights on mine but when I checked to see what it would need , I found that there was no fuse installed. I am glad that all the wiring and switch is there. Should make for an easy install.
Glenn Greenwell
Check one of the PIAA fog light installs posted on this forum or TMS, as I recall someone posted a picture of the Shelby Fuse box and the 15 amp fuse was removed by Shelby. There was a really good pic of the fuse box posted as they went through the install process. I have some interest in doing the GT-H type fog lights as a future modification and am glad to know the switch does work and the wiring is intact. Just my thoughs, cheers GG
shelbymotorsports
Check for the missing fuse and remember that the fogs only work on low beam. Steve
Budman340
Yes, we did remove the 15amp fuse from the spot and put in the spot for the spares. This was done incase any water contacted any open plug ends so it would not short out. When I get back in Monday morning, I will post some pics of the fuse before and after the lights are hooked up. wnenn
Here's my "hidden" driving lights. I used 06 Freestyle assemblies. I had to change the plugs (they are available at Ford parts for wreck rebuilds). Mounted on some stainless bolts with nylon spacers. Wnenn
