Who's going? I'm getting signed up asap. This would be PERFECT for a Team Shelby Nor-Cal cruise/meet/track/whatever.

For guys that don't want to or can't run on the track, these SAAC events are always great just to show & shine. It would be awesome to get a good collection of late model Shelbys at the event. It's conveniently located in Sonoma, not far from Sac and not far from the Bay. Anyone interested in getting something going? :shift:

I participated in this last year and it was a blast. I will most likely be there this year with my car, but as a spectator.

Very cool! Are you interested in getting in on a cruise to the event or meeting up with other TS'ers while there?

Anyone else?

Did anyone end up going to this?

I did yesterday and hooked up with Colin from Griggs. All I can say is "wow". The laps in his Mustang GT were amazing. We passed about 10 cars including a full blown race car (stock car), and a 500 hp Stage 3 Roush with a full racing setup (not street legal) and slicks in his 300 hp Mustang. It doesn't hurt that Colin is an excellent driver and knows Infineon like the back of his hand. But nevertheless, it was awesome. I'm sold on the Griggs setup.

After we were done, the owner of the Roush Mustang came over and said "ok, I need to see what you've got under the hood". I actually felt sorry for the guy when he realized Colin's car was stock. He just put his head down and walked away.

Anyway, the weather was great, lot's of great cars, several Shelby SCGT's and met another GT500 owner and encouraged him to join TS.

Ken, if you went Saturday, sorry I didn't let you know I was only going Sunday.

Good times indeed. Thanks again Colin!

Jim
