California edition

It's definitely NOT a California Edition Mustang if it had a V8 in it. All C.E.'s were V6's.

Serialized 400 unit production

(with "XXX of 400" badges on the dash)

They are all 2006 V6 Pony package

Automatic transmission

Racing stripes (2 wide stripes)

Chrome-tipped exhaust

Special "California Edition" gas cap badge on the back (replaces the pony gas cap emblem)

Thank you kahmann,

Just goes to show dealers don't know crap about what they are selling. I didn't think it was a CE.

From what I remember, ALL Grabber Orange SHELBY GT's were special limited Callifornia Editin's.

GO SGT's are called the Shelby GT - California.

A California Edition Mustang is what was detailed out in my first post.

Cal Special is another story.

That is like the GO V6 Mustangs that had a special Package (not the Pony Package) which consisted of Flat Black Hood & Side Stripes, Hood Scoop, Special Chrome Deck Lid Emblem, 17" Bullit Wheels and a few other items. I just can't remember what the Deck Lid Emblem said. Next Time I see it, I will try to take a few Photos of it.

Sounds interesting...hope you can get a pic.

My wife's car that sits next to mine in the garage is a Warriors In Pink Black Convertible . It is what Ford sponsored with Susan Komen fight against breast cancer. Neat car too...but only came in V6 form. uugh...pics are on my website in My Familys Cars
