I also signed up and no word yet. I'm hoping it was first come first served as I signed up within the hour of the intital notice!

Here's the info that was sent in e-mail:

8:00-9:30 AM - Meet up at the Hyatt in Dearborn for an introduction, safety inspection and waiver

9:30-10:00 AM - Drive your car to the Dearborn Proving Grounds

10:00-12:00 PM - Parade Lap on the test track and photos

12:00-4:00 PM - Divide into 4 groups with 4 activities to rotate through:

1) Static review: see some of the latest models we have to offer (maybe even some test vehicles)

2) Tour of the Dearborn Proving Grounds: Explore the grounds in our shuttle and see the some of the tests we run our vehicles through, including the straightaway, handling course, and world roads.

3) Precision Driving on the Handling Course - Drive one of our vehicles through the twisties (we'll limit your speed).

4) Hot laps - Be driven on the handling course. You'll be taken on the ride of your life by one of our best drivers (you may have to limit their speed). Maybe you'll be in a 700 HP Ford GT or possibly a modified Shelby. It'll be the luck of the draw, but no matter what, you'll never forget this experience. Many Ford employees have never had this opportunity!

We'll provide you with lunch and get you back to your cars.

I hope I did make the list!

The e-mail I received on Tuesday stated that by Thursday a confirmation e-mail would go out as well as e-mails to those that didn't make the list. But nothing as of yet. I e-mailed the coordinator of this event on Friday, his response was that they were suppose to go out this past Thursday, however, he wasn't sure why they haven't yet (potential issue with their bulk e-mail system?

Well, just received e-mail stating that I'm on the wait list for this event :(

I'm confused as they stated first come first serve, yet I responded within the hour of the notice going out!

Hope other team shelby members made the list!

I was quick to signup for the Mustang Alley event, and also replied quickly to the track event notice. I did get back a confirmation that I was selected for the event, and also got the instructions on where we will meet and when.

I would think by now if you were selected, you would know about it.

Maybe they also looked at the initial event registration- by that I mean the Mustang Alley event, and selected people for the track event based on:

1. "When did this person register for the M/A event?

AND

2. When did they respond to the track event offering?

Anyway, I'm glad they did select me, whatever the criteria was, and I am looking forward to this bigtime! :happy feet:

I too was on the Mustang Alley list early!

GO-SVT, Enjoy the event for the rest of us that didn't make the CUT!

Will do.. Guys I'm sure they were not expecting such a response and I'm confident that they didn't intend for anyone to be let down. I feel bad for you guys that wanted to go but didn't get in. Since we can't take any of our own pictures, I guess I'll just have to paint some with words after the day is done.

Just got home from a family reunion and found note stating I am on the Wait list. Guess that means??? Most likely Slim and None.

I respomded in first two hours and had registered in June.

I will be meeting at gathering Place to drive in together to snake pit on Saturday. Might also join in the Dinner Cruise Friday night depending on when Sshelby NY gets in. Offered him a place to wash his SC after driving in from NY.
