I ordered on 5/23/09 and have been thru a roller coaster of info. I have been told it didn't look like I would get it to now its a sure thing. I received my vin this week. I take that as a good sign. tdusseau Posted August 6, 2009 Report Share Posted August 6, 2009 Call ford customer service and give them your vin they will give you the ETA to dealer. According to your sticker you should see it soon. It is shipping convoy(truck) us rail guys are 15-20 days after our build date for delivery. I would think truck should be faster. Ordered from Don Chalmers, I never got a DORA and they cant seem to tell me much. In fact I've found out more about status of my car from this forum than from my dealer. I hope you get your car soon. Just basing this on the window stickers I'm seeing while compiling my database..but cars have already been scheduled up to the 30th of November. Don't know if yours would be squeezed in. Maybe first week of December..but I honestly can't say for sure one way or the other. Just keep trying the link. It should come online a week before your build date. Nic You are probably not scheduled yet. I haven't seen any of the VINs with the "A517****" variables available yet. So I would guess next week....just a guess of course. The dealer told me the week of the 13th, sometime between the 13th and 18th? There is now snow and salt here in Wisconsin so I dont want them to drive it for any reason and would like to be there to pick it up in an enclosed trailer right when they get it. Any help? Thanks From my experience it's very hard to get exact delivery info. The dealer didn't know on Friday 10/2 that the car was arriving Sat, 10/3. All he could say was "It should be here any day now". He called me Saturday morning and said "Guess what, your car's here". It was 3 weeks and three days from the build date on my sticker to delivery date. Mine had a build date of 9/9/2009 and I took delivery on 10/3/2009. Where you're located may impact transit time. I'm in PA so not far from Michigan.
