Shelby Cooling Package Install

Here is the reply from the mod shop at SAI. They didn't mention if they clamp-on the pump wire or solder it on.

"The fan setup has its own relays and fuses that come with the kit. We at Shelby do use the intercooler pump positive wire to trigger the relays for the fans."

FYI. There are a number of different ways to trigger the fans. You can use a Litle Add-A-Fuse, you can solder the trigger wires to the fan pump positive (white with red stripe) at the relay power location. There are number of different ways to do it.

For the record there are crimp connectors provided in the kit that are utilized to 'tap' the voltage for each fans 'trigger'.

It sounds like the SAI mod shop is using the included wiring components from the kit so I would assume the are using the crimp connectors as well.
