clark17357
For the SGT, this is the best set up. For those of us with the lower grill, the install is (so far for me) not possible without pulling off the front end. When I have my car back to the SAI Mod Shop for the cooling package, I hope to persuade Bud to have it installed while they have the front end off. motorjock205
It's a good idea, but like Jim, I too have the lower grille installed and I don't like how it still covers part of the lower grille intake...Why can't someone design one that sits a little higher where the bumper actually is so it doesn't block the lower intake area? Once - the first time I took it for a drive with it on, not since though (knocks on wood). Kevin, You are a genius. clark17357
Kevin, I did the work tonight after getting home. In California it is just a fix it ticket so I will run without a plate and then mount the bracket in 5 minutes and have the ticket signed off and go back to my lawless ways. Great fix. It doesn't really cover the lower grill, I have a S/C and I have not had an issue with the lower grill area.. Also, the license plate covers about 75-85% of the bumper.. Jim I'm keeping mine in the trunk as well. I plan on using the "Oh shoot officer, I forgot to put my front plate back on after I washed my car", excuse. Glad I could help. jp1gt
My wife did get a ticket in ca. Craig's frame is easy to put on with the lower grill, you just have to take the plastic panel off the bottom.
Dig-It
It depends on which lower grill you get. Craig's bracket was not going to get through Quantum Performance's lower grill.
