ddtlaw
Black is hell to keep clean but it sure looks nice when it is clean (all 15 minutes of it). Note the shortened antenna. I swapped it off the '97, which I shortened. I like the look a lot better and no loss of reception. For those of still waiting for your Shelby, sorry about this. sandyman
I hope you have sponges under your heat extractors. I just used duct tape over mine. Some thought that was really stupid but it works just fine and no problems getting it off.

ddtlaw
The mufflers are Flowmaster Super 40s. I have a post about them in the Tech/Mod forum. I didn't know we needed to cover the heat extractors, did I miss a memo? Other than having to clean the engine, which I do anyway, is there a problem with washing the car without covering the heat extractors? I'm in St. George Utah. sandyman
You don't have to cover them. I do just to keep the water out of the engine compartment. Nice car by the way.

sandyman
Thanks. I'll probably cover them from now on. If you dont like the duct tape idea, a guy on another forum bought sponges and cut them to fit and stuffed them in the vents under the hood and he said it worked well. Just dont forget they are there. The duct tape worked fine for me.
