DrKSGT
Signed up in late June when there were only 9 Team Shelby Members signed in. Glad to see several I met last year are coming back. Particularly Dale's GT500 upgraded to a Super Snake. Looking forward to meeting Jim Owens. Robert said he was working the details. Sure hope he has the Credit Union One Parking lot for the Snake Pit. Anything being done like sheet that was used last year? Detail worked out very nicely. Thanks for the Post. :happy feet: We will miss having you and Robert here. shelbymann1970
So is anyone meeting anywhere beforehand to drive in together? I live locally 20 miles west right down 9 mile. Any people here posting with older Shelbys. I will be bringing my 68 GT350. Gary
Carl Bishop
Someone just pick a place I’ll be there, I’m staying with family on the east side Thursday - Sunday, 11 mile & Gratiot area. My wife and I are leaving for MI on the 7th to spend some time with my dad the first few days on Harsens Island…. We can’t wait to leave, 9 more day! That has to be one of the most beautiful Shelby’s I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to see it in person.

Any people here posting with older Shelbys. I will be bringing my 68 GT350. Gary 20 Miles - Can I assume Northville? Looking at the Google Map there is Harding Park on the 696/10Mile Service Drive. Need to check out accessibility from the Campbell Hilton exit as park is at junction to coming off I75 and getting back to I-75. This would put us exactly 1 mile North of the Snake Pit. Right out of the park Short drive to Hilton Right onto Hilton 1 Mile to Nine Mile Right on Nine Mile Staging starts right after the Railroad tracks Can check it out as I will be going by there tomorrow. Park has no parking area to stage in or even a driveway to get to the grass. Going to more surveying for a spot within two miles. Update Saturday morning!! Might be a little short for a caravan but, no matter what location is picked someone would have to go out of their way. I am still trying to think of a location with a little space to put a group of cars and not disrupt a store owner. Before I sign out. Your Car is SWEEET! DrKSGT Edit after park review. DrKSGT
I had posted earlier about place to meet to caravan to the Mustang Alley entrance earlier. First thought according to map did not work when I visited the location. Spent some time Saturday cruising the neighborhoods and could not find a super good place. There are not many parking lots with a good access from Hilton that you come in on. I did find Webb Elementary School at 2100 Woodward Heights as a option. Lot is big and friendly for entrance without chin catcher. I will be there at 6:30 am and will wait to 6:50 to drive over. I checked two routes from the school to Hilton and Nine mile. One has several stop signs on a quiet street requiring all right turns. Other requires left from school onto Woodward Heights back to Hilton and a left at a light onto Hilton. This should take a few minutes to get there. Only traffic should be some of the 460 Mustangs trying to get into the Alley. Post or PM me if you are interested. It would give me an idea on how long to wait to head to check in. Google map works good to look at the area. Checked out the I-75 North bound ramp off at Nine Mile for those coming from the South. Both Nine mile and Eight mile ramps/service drives are rough. Taking Nine mile you would just take Service drive to next light which is Woodward Heights.
