CobraFun
I managed to scrape one of my Alcoas along the edge where it meets the tire. Is there a way to to remove the mark and at least make it look smooth?
hodger
If you take it to a wheel dealer they will be able to polish it out, it should look like new, did one of mine on my Jag last year cost £45 about $60 still cheaper than a new wheel
shelbymotorsports
Yup its amazing what a talented wheel polisher guy can do. Depending on the damage they can usually make it disappear. Steve

500forme
If anyone can recommend a wheel shop in the Atlanta area I would appreciate it If you don't get any recommendations, I have a suggestion for you. Get a hold of a car dealer in your area and ask who they use (ask the service manager or shop foreman). I would call a Mercedes, Lexus or other high end dealership since all of their wheels are alloy. More than likely the person or company that they use will be mobile and can come to you. Good luck
CobraFun
Are the wheels chromed or all aluminum?
500forme
Are the wheels chromed or all aluminum? To the best of my knowledge, they are all aluminum with Alcoa's patented "Dura-Bright" coating to preserve the polish. Repairs are especially tricky with this wheel and the protective finish that is applied. I have had some experiance with this type of repair when I had my front dually wheel on my F-350 repaired (dura-bright was standard on Ford OEM alloy wheels). Don't expect perfection with a repair on this wheel.
