hodger
Mine came back with scratches between the spokes. - Could have been caused by shipper. Has anyone noticed this on yours? Could have been caused by the transit straps ,I made sure that they put the straps around the wheel and not though the wheel Hope you will be able to polish them put
mrfarmdog
I have a friend with the Alcoas and he scuffed his up on a curb. He said he can't find anyone that will touch them to fix it becuase of the finish. Thats a bummer.
poohtang
I stupidly scrapped a curb in a drive-thru ATM and did a fair amount of damage around 150 degrees or so of the wheel. I had a wheel guy turn the wheel to smooth the edge, then my paint guy hand painted some clear coat over. Its perfect and cannot detect anything every happened. I never go to that bank anymore!! poohtang
What did you use for a clear coat? I don't know. I used a paint guy to fix a few dings/scratches I had and he took care of the wheel for me. I assume he used the same clearcoat as is on the paint itself.
