Son of GT
I believe that it's TS member 08BlueCoupe. His age was 16 when he got his 500 although he might be 17 by now.

Can only imagine what his insurance is at 16 with a GT500. My oldest is about to drive and I was looking at at a 93 Cobra. WOW, $2200 every six months. That's with a boat load of discounts too... I would never get my teen a car with that power till they graduated from High School at least

uno
i was 22 when i purchased my 07'. I've never received financial help from the parents, other than 20 bucks at Christmas and a handshake for my birthday. I am very VERY proud of that. Growing up in a Japanese household, independence and pride of becoming your own man is stressed heavily. i cannot say i have failed my parents in owning, a SGT a S2000, and a couple real fast streetbikes at the tender age of 25. neopadawan
I was 30 when i got my GT500. Mustangs and Cobras were what kept me focused through college. I knew when i graduated that i would start saving up for a Cobra. Then they didn't make 'em for a couple years (which worked in my favor - i had some more time to pile up $$$ !) When i saw the 05 Mustang, I nearly pulled the trigger on the GT, but just a couple weeks later i heard the rumor of a GT500, and the rest was a matter of time. neo
Matts
Giving a 16year old a Shelby GT500 is like giving a 5 year old a loaded gun. WTF were you thinking ? It's not the age that matters, it's about how mature the person is.
Matts
If I hadn't refused the Terlingua package when it first came out (when I had the money) I would have been 20 years old. I'm 22 now I'm still saving up for it, but CAD school is very VERY expensive.

I'm 22 now I'm still saving up for it, but CAD school is very VERY expensive. I had a dream about two weeks ago that I had a Terlingua Mustang. That would seriously be bad a$$! uno
Thats an internet claim I still dont believe.I say its Daddys car. I call BS. my when i turned 15, my dad gave me a junkyard Boss 429 to with no wheels, no motor, no drivetrain....i had a year to build the thing and worked two jobs through highschool to simply get the thing running! And if you're all wondering, its cherry except the paint. Not one piece of the car is OEM, at 16 i wasn't aware of the rarity of this particular car. To this day (9 years later) i still have not had the car painted. I want a nice paint job, but many other cars and interests have come up since i built the car.
