sharabi
No doubt in every aspect 2010 is better. i would keep mine though, it is personal to me, i may trade her for a KR but not another gt500. If you like the new one go for it, isn't what this car is all about?
Sharp GT500
Personally I wouldn't. The refinements are nice but in my humble opinion I think the 07-09 is much better looking. You can mod yours to be better but you can't change the look. Ultimately I think that's what it comes down too, which one do YOU think looks better. Jason, I saw your car in the "Yesterday & Today" exhibit at Palo Alto, cool you got your car in there. It was a neat exhibit, (see your car in attached pics) I liked the vintage right hand drive Nissan Skyline GTR. The exhibit had the original versions on the left side, and on the right side was the modern rendition.. I had my KR in the corral and was also one of the judges there.....crazy hot that day, I was sure my eyeballs were going to melt out of their sockets
SicShelby
+1 - keep the '08. Ford did something funny with the 2010's.
281cammer
They are a nice car, stopped by one of the local dealers yesterday and looked at the red one they had in stock. Still not feeling the gunmetal wheels, guess I'm outta date.
VaporDude
I would go after the kona blue one first then the sterling grey. Those are the two best colors in my opinion.

Secondo
Jasonport, don't listen to the dork in the video- he couldn't talk about the 2010 without bashing the 07-09's. Lame. I recommend taking a 2010 GT500 for a test drive first and then making a decision.
Whammer
There is no doubt the 2010 is going to drive circles around our 07-09's. It's just a better all around car. The 2010 GT is going to beat any 05-09 GT as well. Thats the way the car business goes. Despite what people might say- the car companies build better cars each year. A 68 GT500 is going to be owned in every single performance category by an 07 GT500, hell a Mazda 3 might be able to beat it in most as well! The motor is the same, just added a intake and tune to the '07 mill. Now, the '11 or '12 may be very interesting with a new motor, trans, chassis, suspension, etc... Even if GM and Mopar quit in the HP wars, the imports (M3, C63, IS-F, etc) are still out there.

I hope so too, however i do realize that blown v6 can make sick power like in Nissan GTR but i still would like to see 7 liter engine thrown in the Shelby 2012 especially it is the end of the gas muscle era and the beginning of the electrical silent muscles, it will not happen, i can dream that though. gordyd4
The 2010's look like someone from Pontiac designed it. I do like the options available though; and the knock sensor, but it won't be long before someone has a kit to retrofit the 07-09 cars.

It is easy to modify the 08 to bring it up to and beyond the 2010 performance levels.
