I changed mine at about 15,000 after reading Ricks thread...no gunk in my filter and fuel color was still normal...like you say, I guess it all depends on where you are at as to how often you need to change it... Now the cabin air filter? That's a whole different story...change that more often if you live in a dusty environment like I do out here in West Texas...mine was nasty at 15,000 miles! Thanks Inside the engine bay, passenger side under the cowl...lift up your W/S wipers, unscrew the two screws, lift the lid and remove the old filter, replace with a new one, tighten the screws, lower the W/S wipers, close the hood...done...
