Fuel filter

Recommended Posts

Good man!! The manual for cars state 35,000mls but with these gas station you can't trust them. Even the ones with the filters on the pumps.

I changed mine at about 15,000 after reading Ricks thread...no gunk in my filter and fuel color was still normal...like you say, I guess it all depends on where you are at as to how often you need to change it...

Now the cabin air filter? That's a whole different story...change that more often if you live in a dusty environment like I do out here in West Texas...mine was nasty at 15,000 miles!

I have not even looked for the cabin filter. Where is that accessed from? Thanks

Inside the engine bay, passenger side under the cowl...lift up your W/S wipers, unscrew the two screws, lift the lid and remove the old filter, replace with a new one, tighten the screws, lower the W/S wipers, close the hood...done...
