DutchGT500
Today we went to the Dutch GT4 championshsip race on Assen racetrack. I drove the Grabber Terror and Astrid drove her Terlingua. She had her licenseplate last Wednesday. It was a great race with 3 Mustangs, 2 Corvettes, 4 Aston Martins, 4 Ginettas, quite a few 911 GT3 and BMW M3. On our way back home a Volvo V50 of the KLPD was passing us. I was waving to them. Astrid drove in front of me and they passed her too. Then they showed us the lights. We had to follow. Were we speeding? No. Seatbelts? No. It was curiousity. They never saw two cars like these before. After a nice chat they wanted to see the engine compartments, hear the engines and roar of the exhausts. This was brute force to them. It was a Dutch Shelby kekkel party. Lucifer showed them his fearsome growl.

Five Oh B
I can tell you first hand how easy it is to spot your cars from a kilometer away, Patrick! Good to know that Astrid's car is legal now. Shirley and I had a nice time visiting you at your home last week.
Cali_KR
Astrid & Patrick, Those are awesome photos! You better plan on adding hours to all of your trips, as this may become a regular occurance..... Now bust a move over to Deutschland and jump on the "autobahn", too many cameras in the Nederlands, as I personally know (I think I may have told you my story last time we met ) Anyways, congrats, great pics and enjoy. Hopefully you get much good weather this summer so you can continue to exersize the two beasts Tom

sportscars
Thats funny! I kinda like it when the police express interest in my cars. Gives me a chance to meet them (never hurts to know the local law enforcement!). See you two in January! Have fun in the Terlingua! -Sean P.S. What do the kiddos think of the new car? The kids like both Shelby's and love to come with us for a drive. About the interest in my car, when you get the sign to stop your car you first are asking yourself what did I do wrong? When they tell you it is a routine check and ask if they can look under the hood you know that that is why you were pulled over. We certainly had a nice chat with them. Blip
Astrid--this story has the makings for a fun CAR-toon image, now if I could just get caught up enough to have some fun time for my own doodles. Those are great photos with both of the Shelbys and the police. Luv those little add-ons to the Terlingua too.

Here in the Netherlands a Mustang is not as regular car, so if people see a transformed Mustang without any Mustang signs they wonder what kind of car this is. A lot of people make pictures when we are on our way.
