I do recall a psyco named algore being supported 100% by the media in his attempt to steal one though. Nothing has changed since then. He is still a theiving psyco. This time he is stealing with phony carbon credits. And then to bring thievery up to date, we have Al Franken as the current example of democratic election thefts dating back to at least John Kennedy, maintained by a couple of Sanchez sisters interspersed in between. I'm going to jump in here and boldly throw out what everyone thinks in the back of their mind but isn't politically correct to say out loud and I still won't say it out loud but allude to it. The media didn't go after Obama for a very good reason and the answer is pretty plain and simple. It's ok to bash a woman in the media now since we're over women's rights apparently, but heaven forbid...... Let me throw something else out there. Did anyone on here bother to read Michelle Obama's graduate thesis? I did and it's one of the most racist things I've ever read. Michelle made some pretty bad comments at the beginning of the campaign in public until she was basically told to shut her mouth. Barack being a smooth talker along with other attributes won the election simply because millions of people came out and voted who had never voted in their lives. The majority of these voters didn't care what Barack stood for, they voted for him for one reason. I didn't vote for him but my reasoning for not voting for him is because I didn't feel that going to a socialistic society such that we're doing now is the right direction for this country. I only hope he doesn't ruin the country further, but time will tell and I do wish him the best. The people of the U.S. have spoken and he is who we have for the next 4 years so I'm not going to complain about him even though I don't agree with everything he does. All in all, what I would like to see happen in the future is get rid of the parties completely. Being divided by republican/democrat is a bunch of garbage. It may have worked at one time, but I think those days are long gone. We should all be working for the common good, not working towards dividing everyone up along party lines. OK, so by your standard no one who is holding an office can run for another office. John McCain did the same thing. That doesn't explain why Palin could not finish her term and then run for whatever or not run again. Her term as govenor ends in 2010. That gives her 2 years to campaign. There is something odd about this. I dont see how not finsishing her term as govenor is doing the right thing or saving any money. Its funny how every thread for you becomes an exercise in Obama bashing. As far as George Will, he is what I consider a rational, intellegent conservative. He's a no nonsense guy who sees the danger in religious posturing by elected oficials, something that is lost on most of his party. I dont always agree with him, but frequently, I do.
