ShelbyDude
Ford likes anybody that buys their cars.........Even extreme Conservative WaccosNamed "Shelby Dude"........... Ford loves conservatives! Never had a problem with all the Fords I've owned and I've owned a lot of them! Come to think of it, now that I reflect on this, seems the only time I ever seen someone with a problem, it was a liberal driving it!
DDT
I have also owned only Fords and have never got a Lemon............ But my Dad was feeling over"Conservative" and "Cheap" the day he picked out the "VOMET".....

ShelbyDude
She bought that car new in 1964 and paid $3,200 My parents bought a 1972 Grand Torino Sport brand new and paid $3,200 for that. Look how much prices have remained stable from the early 60's through the 70's and look how much they have jumped up since!

stormeaston
I've got a 63 Mercury Meteor which is built on the same frame size as the Comet, it still has the 221 V8 in it and is still running fine. It was funny because last weekend we had a car show in town and we took the SGT and my wife's 05 customized Mustang and the Mercury. I had 70k worth of Mustangs and and guess who won a trophy..........the 2k Mercury Meteor, I have more fun with that car!
