Still trying to come up with a good one for the KR, but my all time favorite is on my Navigator:

NOMOGM

To this day (had that tag for about 20 years), about once a week, I'll get some guy in a Ford truck pull up next to me at a light and say "Like that tag!" or just give me a thumbs-up. The GM folks don't get it!!!!

Since I didn't share mine, it might be:

LOLOIL

GASSSSSS

ASSSFALT (Asphalt)

GLUCK (Good Luck)

CHUGGAS

540PLUS

TRYME

MADEINUSA

NOMULLET

HINLOVER (Hot Import Night Lover) :redcard:

** These are reserved for NJ correctional work

Don't know how many letters you can have on a tag in NJ but we can only have 7 in Georgia

unless you are talking about a front tag.

I got 10GT500 for my plate. I know too vanilla! I'm not as creative as you all are ^_^

Bish,

Do you know if you can reserve a personalized plate in Michigan prior to owning the car? I have a few ideas for a nice plate, and would like to somehow 'reserve' one in particular for my car if at all possible.

AgentIan,

I'm not sure, but here is what I did, when I ordered the car I went to the DMV and switched a plate I currently had registered to another car I just sold to 10GT500. When the car came in I took the plate with me and had the dealer transfer the plate for me. IIRC it cost me $25 at the time I ordered the plate and then the transfer fee at the dealership. I see no reason why you could not do this with a daily driver plate to get what you want and get another plate for your DD once your car arrives.

I don't really care for vanity plates. The closest to personalization I'm getting is with Virginia's "Fight Terrorism" tag.

I'm with you Baby Gorilla...maybe the vanity plates are just not my style..but they seem to come across too corny to me. No offense to the people that get them - just my opinion. Just give me a random sequence of numbers and letters! hehe.

Thanks Bish. I definately need to get more organized. :) I was keeping an eye on one plate in particular until last week when it became no longer available - someone else beat me to it. I have one more idea, but am resisting posting it until I've got it sorted for myself!
