Jesse_Bolt
Thanks for the replies. I kinda thought it was Parnelli Jones. I knew there was a PJ edition of the new Boss Mustang. I didn't know what significance PJ was with the Boss Mustang. An internet search revealed he won the 1970 Laguna Seca race in his Boss 302 Mustang. 68fastback
An internet search revealed he won the 1970 Laguna Seca race in his Boss 302 Mustang. JB Hey, Jesse ...Ford also won the 1970 Trans-Am Championship season overall, with PJ getting the top-driver honors over Mark Donohue (Javelin). So many great memories of PJ and Geo.Follmer at Watkins Glenn, NY and Lime Rock, CT -- I sure hope we get to see that cloase competition return in a few years -- without restrictor plates and such BS like the Grand Am resorted to, to slow down the Mustangs.
