kharper
Hi, I am looking to get a set of Drag Radial and an extra set of rims to mount them on permanently. So on a day I want to go to the track I will just bolt on the the DR's and go. I do not want to install TPMS on the 'track rims' unless the car requires them. Will the car go into any kind of fail safe mode with out the sensors? Or will the car work perfectly fine, but simply give a tire pressure warning on the dash? I can live with a light on at the track, as I may change the tire pressure in the tires anyway. But if the car goes into a fail safe, I will have to get sensors. mrfarmdog
Just reset the error in your car if it comes on. It will go away when you reinstall the other tires. Sometimes mine doesn't even come on when I change tires.

Paleoc
How do you reset the error? Is there a way to disable the TPM system? You push the reset button and the message goes away. The little flat tire image on dash stays but so what. The message comes back after 1/2 hr, push the button again and it doesn't come back until next time you start the car.
