supersnake94
They are making a 2010 Snake as well as some new Shelby products. They're going to be making only 500 2010s, but it's worth it. The front page says it all. :party2:

stevenh
OK, stupid new guy question. Been reading your forum for about a month and have learned a ton of info, so thanks a lot. I am picking up my 2010 GT500 this week (first Mustang but am alrady hooked)a nd was going to do the SS package. Only problem is mine is silver and I don't like the look of the black stripe on silver and to me Shelbys should have two stripes. So today I see the new SE package that allows you to keep the stripes but with the optional items you can basically turn it into a SS just without the hood and stripe, and for the same money. Since the SS is the flagship, is it stupid for me to go that route just to keep my stripes in terms of resale or collectibility or whatever-or is it just about what I want and call it good. Thanks for the advice Steve

Thanks for the advice Steve These cars will all go down in value for a long while, IMO. If you want an investment, I wouldn't buy a car personally. Do what suits you the most. And congrats on your new Cobra. Ken

supersnake94
Is there a 2010 black SS pic I missed? No, I must apologize on my part. I thought that the pic of the 2010 Snake was black, but it's actually dark blue. It's hard for me to see various shades of colors. I'm sorry, my bad. But still, I want them to make a White Snake because the car looks good in that color with the black stripe.
RogerS
The car in the photo's is Kona Blue. It is our concept vehicle. We are working on the rear defuser area. The entire front splitter in all new. Integral brake duct system, etc. there are differences. We need to keep the integrity of the brand "Super Snake". Regarding values, we are finding retentention of value is more the case currently. The rear facia is painted body color with the center lower defusser area remaing black. Final design has not been determined.
94gt
I thought I read somewhere about optional silver stripes, is this true? I m surprised how simiar this is to the 07 to 09 SS, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Side scoops added and you have the perfect retro modern version of the 68 Shelby Gt-500.
