2sharpie
Can someone, who fortunately has received their '10 Gt500, please post some pics of the exhaust (underneath). I had heard that the axleback being used for our '10 was the same as last years KR, but want to be sure before I order my headers and everything else (even though I still haven't received a VIN or build date ) Thanks!!!!!!! 2sharpie
sure, but do i need to jack it up,or can i just take it from the back?? No -- i dont think you have to jack it up. Some pics from the back and a little underneath (to see the shape of the muffler) should do. I want to see if they look anything like this. Thanks a bunch. Saw a total of 6 2010 GT500 out of 3000 mustangs. That was to much fun!!! Berney My 2010 GT500 Kona/Silver HID/Electronics & Cover Due 7-

Now I know I'm going to have to replace the stock ones. Want to get the KR's, but am not sure if the 3.5" tip will look too small (versus stock 4"). Was the bottom really bad as far as rust?? Want to get the KR's, but am not sure if the 3.5" tip will look too small (versus stock 4"). Was the bottom really bad as far as rust?? my car was built 6/3, so it was just starting, and it made it easier to control.Just put on some rustinhibitor,l used Ospho, but be careful, use goggles and gloves.Let it cure,i waited a week, then put on some clear enamel, maybe 3 light coats. While i was under the car(my friend has a lift), i taped over with clear tape all the labels, and some of the many ink markings--figure 20 years from now folks will be wondering what the poriginal markings were, and it didnt take me long. Then i cleared the lables as well

henrycp
The 2010 stock exhaust is not the KR's. FRPP did, however, extended the tip length to fit the 2010 and is avail now, FRPP part # M-5230-SA: http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_...tKeyField=11109

I hope that 1/2" difference in the tip (down from 4") won't look too funny.
