TexasShelby
I'm giving right at $1086 for my vert and liability for my '66 chevy truck. So no, it's good being 4th.
XLR8
I feel lucky at $744 per year. I do get a multi car discount, low mileage discount and no claims discount with State Farm.
DarkShadow
Yeah, that figure sounds like a load of crap to me. Just another way to shy people away from american cars. My GT500 costs me about $850/yr to insure. Granted that's with a perfect driving record, multi car discount and low mile discount. But still, that's pretty darn good. Afterburner
When I bought my first new car(87 Mustang GT) I was 26 and living in Brooklyn NY. I was getting ridiculous quotes for insurance. To this day I will still not use Geico as I remember calling them and asking for a price. Right after the woman asked me how many cylinders the car had she started laughing uncontollably and said "we can't insure that". I ended up insuring it under my fathers' name and it still cost me $3300.00 a year. The car off the lot brand new was 15K. Here in Va, they have personal property tax and I just got the bill for the Shelby. Eight hundred and change.
