Which confirms rumors the GT500 is getting a aluminum block V8 for the 2011 GT500 (released in 2010 though). A 1 year production cycle of the retuned 5.4 in the GT500 is pretty odd though. Not the craziest thing Ford has done though. Also odd is that couldn't a regular GT owner just slap a supercharger on their more cost effective GT 5.0 V8 and have similar power numbers to what will undoubtably be a 5.0 V8 supercharged motor in the 2011 GT500?
