txcobra
Thanks for sharing, I just sent mine in and it arrived today at the children's foundation. How long did it take to turn around? And here's a stupid question...did you mark on the cover which way is up? I didn't, but I did note on the form that you submit with the part that I hadn't marked the part. I am sure they know which way on the part is up, given how many he signs, right?

Just a suggestion if its not to late, this is something I wish I had done when the cover was signed. In hind sight, I would have CS also write "40th anniversary #...." I saw another TS member that had that done and it really looked good!
500forme
Hmmm...now that I am thinking about it, I could send in my original cover and get that signature the way I would like it. Just goes to show that usually the best and simplest answer is right in front of you. Duh.
txcobra
Man, that is a great idea! I know it just arrived there today, I wonder if I can call and change it somehow?

I'm guessing that you could fax or scan and email documentation that verifies that you are the bonafide owner of a 40th car. If you find out, please let me know what they need for verification. Thanks
MY500SS
The big guy added my CSM# when he signed the cover, very cool. Write in the instruction box of the CSCF form that you want the CSM# added along with the signature.
txcobra
Thanks for the pic Dan...the problem is that I already shipped it to them. I am going to see if I can call the foundation Monday and ask them to add this to it. Hopefully I will get lucky!

40th 142
thank you to everyone. By the way I did note on my form that I would like it signed "40th anniversery #142" on top half and signature on bottom half. But to my understanding Mr. Shelby had been on vacation for a several weeks, so I guess he may have had a lot to do and not enought time to personalize items. I hope that was the reason, but never the less at least I have his signature now . It took about 3 1/2 weeks to get it back. New question for everyone. Should I connect the airbag or leave it disconnected a little help would be nice

Was very pleased when I got it back (2 weeks) with the little extra I asked for thanks CS :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet:
