ROUSH FENWAY RACING TO HOST FAN DAY EVENTS

Concord, N.C. (May 13, 2009) - Roush Fenway Racing will host their 2009 Fan Day

events, presented by Citi, on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. Fans are invited

to Roush Fenway's corporate headquarters in Concord, N.C. to participate in an array

of activities that kick off with autograph sessions by all eight Roush Fenway

drivers and Jack Roush himself and conclude with pit stop exhibitions on Friday.

 

During the two-day event, Roush Fenway will be collecting non-perishable items to

donate to the local Cabarrus County food pantries. Fans are asked to help Roush

Fenway reach their goal of 1,000 pounds of food by brining donations of cans, boxed

items, diapers, and formula. For Thursday's autograph event, 150 tickets will be

distributed for each autograph session. Fans are asked to bring a donation of two

items in exchange for a ticket. Tickets for all three sessions will be distributed

at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21. The autograph sessions are as follows:

 

10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and David Ragan

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Jack Roush, Erik Darnell and Colin Braun

 

On Friday, Roush Fenway Sprint Cup teams will participate in pit stop demonstrations

from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon then again from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. All five of Roush

Fenway's Sprint Cup teams will sign autographs from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. There

will be opportunities for fans to participate in the pit stop demonstration as well.

 

In addition to the above activities, fans will be able to tour the Roush Fenway

museum, shop in the newly renovated store and peruse a variety of displays from

Ford, Aflac, Roush Industries, UPS, Subway, Vitamin Water and Sprint. There will

also be food and drink vendors so fans can make a day of it. Its two days of fun

for the entire family.
