Mustang Monthly

Back March or early April, I listed the 45 Most Significant Mustangs according to an article in the April 2009 Mustang Monthly to celebrate the 45th birthday of the car. Practically every Shelby made the list somewhere. Our SGTs came in at #31 :happy feet: They are first in my book but oh well :hysterical:

I dashed off a short e-mail agreeing with their critique of the SGT. In the new June issue, they opened their Pony Express(letters to the editors) pages with my e-mail. I was flattered that they gave me the space, considering how many people probably had comments about the list and their favorite year. :talkhand:

Chalk up another one for the SGT crowd :happy feet:

Awesome news.

On a similar note in Mustang Times on page 42 on the May issue some gentlemen tells the story of his "2008 Shelby GT" which is actually a 2007. I wrote to the editor and they are running a correction next month. I was happy to see the Shelby and this article but unfortunately the guy thought he had an 08.

I was happy to see that the 07 SGT made the list... But I really did not agree with half of that list... Actually how did mustang monthly come up with that list.. Was it just some writer sitting behind his desk and thought of the list that he would have called the most sig????

I wondered the same thing. I'm pretty sure it was an internal list they compiled.
