cloud9
I had a complete trans and clutch replacement last summer. After the flywheel warping issue surfaced, I noticed the clutch not completely disengaging this summer. I just had the new TSB done a month ago, but they only replaced the clutch, flywheel and sleeve. They didn't replace the trans because I already had the updated one. Now I'm getting what feels like the synchros bumping SOMETIMES when I shift into reverse. I also OCCASIONALLY feel it when shifting into 2nd. I might just be paranoid, but I'm afraid it's some early syptoms of a problem. I didn't really notice this before, but it's not really a serious issue at this point either. Do I need to have the syncrhos replaced?
Red Snake
Talk to a technician at Tremec about using GM syncromesh fluid in the transmission. They told me it was the best and my improve your issue.
