He probably ran the sticker using your VIN. Up until the last six numbers, they're probably the same or similar.

Either that or he's psychic.

Sorry, didnt mean to freak anybody out... and not psychic... if you know the last 6 digits, there are only a couple other variables, as i will list below for everybody's info.

First 3 for 2010 are always "1ZV" which is a ford manufactured in the USA

The next is a "B" which signifies active seatbelt restraints

digits 5-7 are the body style: P8K is a ragtop, and P8J is a hardtop

digit 8 is an "S" which signifies the 5.4 liter engine with 540 HP

NOW, digit #9 is the wildcard, can be ANY number from 0-9

digit #10 is an always "A" which is the code for the 2010 model year

digit 11 is always a "5" which is the plant code for AAI in Flat Rock Michigan

and finally... digits 12-17 are your "6 digits"

my 2010 ragtop VIN is 1ZVBP8KS2A5121521

and of course my window sticker is not up there yet, so I ran a bunch of yours... no offense meant, just curiousity!!!

Sooooo- That's how I knew you went Sterling/Silver, my only guesses were that its a coupe and that digit #9

did the car come thru with hid lites ??

It "generally" takes 6-8 weeks from official start of production to actual delivery to dealers lot... Could be sooner, could be longer, who really knows. So far, NOBODY (that we know of) has actually taken delivery of their car, and some folks had build dates in March, April, etc...

But as Gorilla said - the HID's are not on hold at this time, my order was accepted into FMC Dealer system with HID's as an option.

:burnout:
