Recommended Posts

We folks im saling my girl. My wife and I welcomed our new addition on March 18th, and well she is the most beautiful thing in the world. I am willing to do anything for her and that means saling the toys for now. :( I know that I can get another car but I do not want to sacrifice missing important things at home. So here we go. I have a 08 Black gt500 with the grey strips with less than 4000 miles, oil change at 2000 miles. All options minus the Nav. Kept in garage and is perfect. Please email me if anyone can help me out, I want this car to go to a great family that will treat it well, and that will send me periotic updates on how she is doing. My email is bigdrawz24@hotmail.com and I can send pics per request. I know how the market is right now and i need to get rid of it, please serious interest only. Im asking 38,500 OBO, within reason.

I know this is the wrong section to list this and I'm sorry for that.

Thanks again for everyone's time, hope someone will help me out.

Thanks man. My while life changed the moment I saw her you know. She is awsome!!

I hate to sale the car but I have to take care of family first.

Congratulations on your wee one!

I can tell you from experience that it wil lseem like tomorrow that she is 18. Or 21, or as my oldest daughter is now, 28.

Let's see, if my daughters sons father is her father in law what is he to me? Anyway, I took him for a ride in the Cobra. It was raining and cold but we had a good short ride and he didn't get wet :)

Congratulations!

My daughter is our one and only child. For our first ten years of marriage, we had no kids (not due to lack of trying!!). We assumed this was the way it was meant to be. She came into this world as a complete surprise. Fifteen years since then, we've had no more. August 2009 will be 25 years of marriage. Our daughter is truly a blessing and I love her sooo much. She's now almost 15 and I've been teaching her how to drive. How many people can say the first car they ever drove was a GT500? My daughter is one of those people!

When I'm at work and having a bad day, all I have to do is look at a picture of my daughter on my wall and all my troubles melt away. It really puts perspective on life. I have a pic of my car on my wall too but it doesn't mean anything compared to my "little" girl.

Cherish every moment you have with your new daughter. You can never make up for lost time and now is the time. It flies past way too fast. Where have the last 14 years gone?

You won't regret your choice. I also had a 1967 GT500 in 1982. Loved that car more than life at least I thought until...... I love my children more. I have never looked back.

Good luck with your new addition.

My 2nd kid born on April 22. The GT500 has provision for baby sitting in the back, that is one of the reason why I like it, not realy a family car but not a DINK car either.

GT500 is the fastest mean of transportation to arrive to kindergarten in time... and style.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just gonna bump this for my own sake, sorry.

2 questios, for all the great people here.

1. Is anyone selling their car? Im having a hard time moving it.

2. What is a far price for all parties involved? Car is a 08, with 4000 miles and all options minus navigation.

Thanks again everyone for your time.

I've been trying to sell my 07 GT500 (28k miles)..which is temporarily on hold until I can fix my clutch issue....I put mine on eBay and had two offers, one for 31k and one for 32.5k. The 32.5k offer said he could come up a little, but I had to email him today about the clutch issue and I've probably lost him.

For an 08 with as few miles as you have, I think your price is fair. Put it on Ebay at "Buy it Now" of 37.9k...you'll attract some offers.

I bought my 07 white/blue car with 2000 miles for $34,000 in March.

I really can't say if that was a good deal or if its showing the current market trend?

I'm afraid if you really want to move it, you may have to take a hit. The seller wanted $38,000 when we started talking. I wanted to buy a new Camaro for around 34, but after many rides in 1fsthrse's car I changed my tune. I let the seller know how much money I had and if he really wanted to sell to contact me, but only after he tried all other avenues first. I truely didn't want to screw anybody, my problem was my limited budget. A couple of weeks later he emailed me to make a deal.
