rpretzel
I just completed installing the C&R high-capacity radiator and the dual pass, dual puller fan heat exchanger. A big thanks to Van at Revan racing! The install was much easier than I expected, and the fitment is excellent. Wiring up the dual fans was a bit of a PITA. I wanted to make sure it looked as close to factory as possible, so I took most of a day to do the wiring. I am extremely impressed with the performance of these products. Their cooling capabilities are UNREAL! I took her our for a shakedown drive, and after about 20 minutes of hard driving I pulled over to check under the hood. The radiator was still cool to the touch. After another 25 minutes of hard driving, the radiator was barely even warm, and there was no blast of hot air when opening the hood. I highly recommend this set-up. Definitely one of the best mods I've done. Now, if only my 2.9L Whipple would arrive.
blkGT500nCA
I think I'm about to get these too. I've been talking to Van about em. Wasn't there a couple different ways to wire everything up? Are the instructions pretty complete and easy to follow?

rpretzel
Sweet Mod. Did you change the thermostat? or the fan settings in your tune? Yes, I changed to a 180 degree thermostat. As for the instructions... I didn't really follow the instructions for installing the radiator and heat exchanger. It's pretty straightforward, so I just dove in. What did bother me a bit was the complete lack of instructions for wiring up the fans. The only thing included in the kit was a generic wiring diagram that didn't help much. I was able to find Van's write-up here on teamshelby that walks you through the install pretty well. I opted for wiring the fans into the HE water pump wiring so the fans go on whenever the pump is on. I pretty much did my own thing with the rest of the wiring so I got the look I wanted. Sorry I didn't take any pics. It was getting late and I was tired of looking at it, so I just put it all back together.

All of the kits will come with a wiring diagram or will be emailed to the installer or owner. I have already had it put into CAD and then transposed to PDF format and it is readily being spread around the mod shops etc. The Next Generation of C&R Radiators and Heat Exchangers, commonly referred to as Shelby Radiator and Heat Exchanger are currently in mass production. Thanks for a positive write up and thanks for the email. I am pleased that you are another happy customer. VC
