USBlueStage2
Low production numbers for sure. Thanks for the info. Anybody know the break-down for stripe packages? e.g. Ebony/Alloy
Whammer
Low production numbers for sure. Thanks for the info. Anybody know the break-down for stripe packages? e.g. Ebony/Alloy Production numbers of 09 are so low because it was a short model year. The early release of the 2010's created only a 6 month production run for the 09's. I think the 08's were about 8500.

thewheelman
Thanks folks for kicking in those numbers! I know some folks aren't thrilled about that many being built, but hey, given the scope of the car business in the US and the huge number of Mustangs, of all varieties, built.....our cars are not only "special." but also "limited." 23683 over 3 years gives us roughly 7900/year--total Thanks again! VaporDude
If the average car cost $50,000 thats 1.1 billion dollars But if you put this into perspective with invoice cost, lets say for the sake of argument that the invoice average is $42,000, Ford made $994,686,000. The rest of it went to the selling dealers which would be $189,464,000 if all the cars sold for $50,000. That is really not alot of money for the dealers to spread around considering their overhead. I wonder how much money Ford spent on R&D of this car and how much of that profit went to CS. I am sure he is getting his cut on these as he should be.
