blueshawk
I bought the Shelby aluminum strut tower brace and the Shelby GT cap set today at Blue Oval Industries and installed them along with my Shelby sig airbag cover for a very productive (and expensive) Saturday! I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy! BTW I asked the sales guy at BO about how business was in this economic downturn. He said people seem to be spending just as much money on their Mustangs as before and business has been good. One tip about installing the Shelby strut tower brace. Since this is aluminum, you want to torque the nuts (26 lb-ft) and drive it some. Then retorque the nuts to account for the "mating" of the metal surfaces. This is especially important for aluminum-to-steel joints because the one metal is softer than the other. The dashboard looks awesome and under the hood too! The Shelby strut tower brace is one impressive hunk of metal and looks good under the hood. BTW, it weighs about the same as the Ford Racing brace. twitch43
If you can, could you post some pics. I've been thinking about buying both of those items and would like to see what they look like under the hood.
