gc12
Has anyone seen if Ford or Shelby make a carbon fiber replacement of the GT500KR rear splitter to replace the grey plastic piece with fins that's all around the exhaust at the back of the car? Dale Jerome
Would love to see one, but I've been told it's tied into the rear bumber assembly and a little more complex than just swapping out the bottom piece??? Sure would be a nice addition to the car!

Never thought the plastic splitter would be tied with the painted side of the bumper...Thanks for the heads up MustBD2!

gc12
That's good news! Do you happen to know if it'll be coming from Shelby or Ford? Do you mean by overlay that the new carbon part will adapt on top of the exisiting splitter? Cheers! Gilles

dbackg
There is a paint shop here in the Phoenix area that can paint the plastic to look like carbon fiber. Bad By Designs, Moe Madrid - 623-776-9204. I am sure there are paint shops in your area that can do this. I have seen it, it looks awesome. However, a CF overlay would be quick. How much is the CF overlay? I also have seen Ebay listings that paint Shelby/Mustang plastic interior parts to look like CF.
